New Company Transitions: Successfully transitioning into a new company has a myriad of challenges for Senior Executives. In most cases, the interview process falls short of fully appreciating the culture of the new company and more importantly what it takes to be successful in that culture. Additionally, the interview process rarely provides an accurate understanding of C-Suite, Peer and/or Board of Directors dynamics. Any leaders success, if it is to be sustained for a substantial period of time, is directly tied to the capability and performance of their team. Through many years and opportunities to lead, observe and be a part of a large variety of teams, we have developed a comprehensive guide called the 10 Characteristics of a High Performing Team. As an extension to an existing engagement or a stand-alone process, we initially introduce the 10 Characteristics to a team using real examples of what 'right looks like'. We use these examples and apply them to the existing environment and team. This allows a team to understand the 'intellectual' aspect of what it means to be a High Performing Team. While the intial step is necessary and critical, it is the next phase where the real work begins.
